The Combined and Comprehensive Data File (CDF) contains a field listed as GrowthMeasureYN. Depending on the circumstances of the test it may indicate True or False in the field.
True: The test is used for growth reporting. To be used for growth reporting, it must follow these parameters:
- If the same test was taken multiple times, only the test with the lowest standard of error will display a value of True.
- The test must be taken within the test window for your district and school.
- The the test was taken at least one day before the CDF was ordered.
False: The test is not considered valid for growth. One or more of the following is true:
- The student took the same test multiple times.
- The test was taken outside the test window for your district or school.
- The test window is not active for the district and school.
- The test was taken the same day the CDF was ordered. The test will be marked as a growth event the next day.
