The System Administrator for your organization can find your definition of tested by going to Modify Preferences > Modify Tests.
Definitions include:
Test validity:
- Default: Student has a valid test. Invalid tests (completed tests with too low duration, or with RIT or SEM outside the valid range – see Test has an invalidation code here: Grayed out (low lighted) test results) do not cause the student to be considered tested.
- Modified: Student has a valid or invalid test.
Test window:
- Default: Student has a test that is inside the test window. Tests taken before or after the test window do not cause the student to be considered tested.
- Modified: Student has a test that is inside or outside the test window. Tests taken any time during the term cause the student to be considered tested.
Excluded from reports:
- Default: Student has a test that is not excluded from reports. Excluded tests do not cause a student to be considered tested, even if the test otherwise meets the criteria. See How to exclude test events from MAP Growth.
- Modified: Student has a test that is or is not excluded from reports.
Rapid guessing:
- Default: Student has a test that did not reach the rapid-guessing threshold. Tests where the student rapidly-guessed on over 30% of the questions do not cause the student to be considered tested.
- Modified: Student has a test that did or did not reach the rapid-guessing threshold.
Terminated:
- Default: Student has a test that was terminated. If the student has a test that is terminated, they are considered tested.
- Modified: A student is not considered tested when they have a test that was terminated
