HMH Rostering Service (HRS)

As part of the ongoing integration of NWEA into HMH, certain NWEA partners are using the HMH Roster Solution (HRS) for the 2025/2026 school year. HRS simplifies the complex task of rostering across several digital systems and streamlines the process of rostering students and teachers onto a single platform to ensure they're assigned to the appropriate classes and schools for testing and reporting. MAP Growth partners who use HRS can roster students and teachers in one place for all MAP and HMH-connected digital products.

HRS offers several benefits:

  • Enhanced integration with ClassLink
  • Continued integration with Clever
  • Improved user interface for file-based rostering

NWEA Legacy Rostering

Please note that in order to test with either MAP Growth or MAP Reading Fluency, a roster must be submitted for the term with students, teachers, and classes. Both MAP Growth and MAP Reading Fluency use the same roster submitted into the MAP Growth platform. 

If you also use an HMH solution, rostering for NWEA using this legacy method is part of "dual-rostering."  While dual-rostering, you can lay the groundwork for a future move to the HMH Rostering Service (HRS), the rostering method that facilitates deep integration between NWEA and HMH curriculum, by following the steps below:

1. 1. Roster for HMH Curriculum via the same rostering partner (ClassLink, Clever, etc.) you plan to use for HRS.
   2. Add a unique email address for every user.
   3. Ensure the email address for every user matches across your MAP Growth and HMH rosters.
