Students with completed or suspended tests are "Awaiting Student" in the test session

« Go Back
Information
I have students with completed or suspended tests. When I open my test session, their status is "Awaiting Student". Why is this?

This is normal and expected. The Awaiting Student status means that the test session is ready for the student to sign in. If the student has a suspended test, you will be notified after the student signs in and you confirm the test as normal. You will be prompted to allow the student to continue or to start over. Selecting Resume Test will start student at question they left off on, Start Test Over will terminate the in-progress test. See How to resume a suspended test.

Before ending a test session, you can use the Download Session Progress report located in the proctor console to save a list of students who have completed a test, have a suspended test, or who should be considered for re-testing due to test disengagement and rapid-guessing.
