Test restricted by frequency

Your organization has the ability to restrict the number of times that a student may retest. If this restriction is enabled and a student has already completed the test once that term, this message will display next to the student name when the proctor tries to confirm the student.

Exclude the previous test from reports:

Users with the Data Administrator role can exclude the previous test from reports to allow the student to test again. This is the preferred option as it does not change district-level settings and only affects the single student. See Overriding a Test Restriction in the MAP Help Center.

Configure frequency restriction to unlimited:

Users with the System Administrator role can change the existing test restriction from Once Per Term to Unlimited. Please keep in mind this will change this setting for the entire district and all students will be able to retest.
