Which grades, subjects, and terms have status and growth norms?

Status norms (percentiles)

Status norms (percentiles) are available for the following subjects and grades:

 
Percentiles are available for the following seasons or terms:

  • Fall (beginning of year)
  • Winter (mid-year)
  • Spring (end of year)

 
User (status) norms

For Spanish Reading, course-specific mathematics such as Algebra I, Algebra II, and Geometry, and course-specific science such as Biology/Life Sciences, we have user norms available. User norms are not a nationally representative sample. User norms are available for the following subjects and grades:

  • Spanish Reading: K-8
  • Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, Integrated Mathematics 1, 2, and 3: K-12
  • Biology/Life Sciences

 
Growth norms

Growth norms are available for the following subjects and grades:

  • Reading:
    •  K-12
  • Spanish Reading:
  • Course-specific mathematics:
  • Mathematics:
    •  K-12
  • Language:
    •  2-11
  • General Science:
    •  2-10
  • Course-specific science:
    • Not available

 
Term pairs: Growth norms are available for the following term pairs:

  • Fall to Winter
  • Fall to Spring
  • Fall to Fall
  • Winter to Spring
  • Winter to Winter
  • Spring to Spring
  • Spring to Fall - Currently available in norms documents only; not visible on reports 


User (growth) norms:

For the Spanish Reading and course-specific mathematics tests, we have user norms available. User norms are not a nationally representative sample. User growth norms are available for the following grades and term pairs:

Spanish Reading:

  • Grades: K-8
  • Term pairs
    • Fall to Winter
    • Fall to Spring
    • Winter to Spring

 
Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, Integrated Math 1, 2, and 3:
